Idk man I’m just super disappointed in the movie in general like I know I should give it a chance but Jacob elordy playing a brown man and one of the most gorgeous women alive playing a sickly teenager gives me bad vibes I like I want to give it a chance but with the Charli XCX stuff I’m so confused and conflicted 😭

Fully agree on Jacob elordi that it should’ve been a person of color. I’m giving it some hope that it’s not just some stupid erotica. Hoping that Margo has some sort of team that would protect her from doing something dumb. Holding out hope this is all just deceitful marking to get us interested and stir up talking

For sure I also saw theories saying that because the title is in quotes for the teaser trailer and the poster that it’s not actually supposed to be a faithful adaptation but like a woman self inserting into Wuthering heights and that’s why she’s imagining him as her Heathcliff instead of a poc and maybe discussing the dangers of self insert “romance”
