I used to kind of do this with people who seemed self obsessed or unable to listen to do anything but speak. like people who will listen to something you’re saying just so they can go “omg when IIII did something like that…” idk if that’s your situation tho? but yea generally I avoid people who seem like they’d be a bad friend or are really bad with conversation

They claim I never did anything to cause it and the person’s just being weird, but it happened to most the ppl I met in my one class last year and most of the ppl I met in hs, they either pretended to be my friend for years then suddenly distance themselves for no reason or cut me off as soon as I graduated cause they were a year or two below me

Okay, I guess the two that were art studio monitors last year are now bursting out laughing whenever the professor calls on me to answer a question to so guess now that’s a thing. This is college btw, I got stuck with them in my class again

I didn’t even talk much, one guy kept getting upset thou cause he would come in on the time late at night when I was always in the art studio to work alone expecting it to be empty and get upset I was there. He also blamed me for ruining his print cause cleaner for the printing press (etching class) got on it staining it cause he soaked the cleaning rag knowing there were no clean/dry extras we could swap it with

The other two from my art class I think just got upset cause they overheard me complain to my friend that the monitors weren’t doing their job cleaning the rags or cloths (all 40 cheese cloths in the room became molded and ruined and got thrown out cause they never cleaned them like they were supposed to and literally didn’t even show up for their shifts, we never had ink cause they didn’t take inventory stock either. They didnt clean up after themselves and left wet ink everywhere).

I didn’t know they were the monitors at the time, but the situation got so bad the prof pulled them to the side during class and scolded them daily for months, idk how they even were able to keep their job and come back this year, the other two monitors were fired for pulling that shit

Yea, most art ppl I met are nice, then there’s others that seem to hate your guts for no reason and give you this pissed off glare like you should be ashamed to even show your face on campus for just having a class with them in the past even though you didn’t interact once
