Shoot me if this is a stupid idea but are there like cat places you can take her to to see how she interacts with other cats? I don’t have a cat so idk. Or if you know her breed maybe research to see if her breed typically prefers companionship? Or maybe foster a cat?

foster cat might be the best option but also giving them their own spaces as well, i know how to introduce a cat slowly but idk how to type it out. basically letting them sniff each other through the door like keep new cat in bathroom, then having one (usually the new cat) in a cage so they can sniff and see each other, see how everything goes

i think like also putting og cat in the bathroom / room where new cat was staying and let them sniff that stuff and let new cat sniff out new house full of OG cat smells

Wait when my cousin got a cat she was told to put the new cat in one room so that she could get acclimated to the smell of everything and not be scared/overwhelmed by the whole house

yeah , like a bathroom or another room that’s small / giving them places to hide for the first few days then slowly “leveling them up”
