I've met quite a few men from dating apps literally since I was 15 and never had a problem.. if you talk to them for long enough and esp if you facetime before meeting in a public place I don't think it's that unsafe. I met a guy for the first time just at his apartment once and nothing happened. Yes I may be stupid but it's not all that dangerous tbh
