ive never gotten the baby fever thing either, like sure babies are cute and all that but is that really the only reason u get "baby fever"? like do ppl not think about how their lives would change after having one and all the shit you gotta go through with raising a literal child? like just get a pet if ur focused on them being cute or whatever imo

baby fever is a rush of hormones that can occur for some people, especially near babies they’re related to. just the monkey brain doing monkey brain things, it doesn’t really speak to the practicalities of having a child
