yes imo. i’m 22 and i don’t think i could even really be friends with an 18 year old much less be with them romantically.

Yes, at 22 I’ll be finished with my bachelors degree and so much more mature and at an entirely different point in life than I am right now. When you’re younger age gaps matter more so try to stick with someone who’s at the same maturity level as you and in a similar point in life :)

Update: I told the guy who asked me out hes too old and he was nice abt it and understood

18 is often still in highschool, 22 could have a masters degree. IMO you’re at such different points in your lives, resource access, and independence levels that it would be hard to avoid falling into potentially unhealthy power imbalances
