join an improv group or something, but theatre really does give u great experience in finding out if ur actually good enough with lines and acting

theatre is how a lot of film actors get their start. improv groups are also great. these are resources that could probably get you good connections to move where you wanna be in your acting experience. in terms of movies or shows, try connecting with students on your campus studying film. by the end of the year, they’ll be taking casting calls for the films they have to make for their classes
