My mom is literally going blind like not an exaggeration like she can’t see a foot in front of her and refuses to go to the optometrist and is convinced she only needs readers and we argue about it every time we get on the phone and I have to remind her that her mom was legally blind by the time she died. She also hasn’t seen an ob since my little sister was born 19 years ago even though my aunt was recently diagnosed with cervical cancer which is a whole other can of worms 🙄
