Do some ppl’s parents fr just pay for their cars, apartments, experiences, etc? I don’t want to hear nothing about “enjoy your early 20s! travel and have fun!” from these people. You aren’t real

Yes. But they only pay for necessities so I have two jobs to pay for anything extra like my dog, shopping, maintenance, and spending.

yes however i don’t take it for granted. i’m always and forever thankful because i know how hard my parents work to be able to do this for me.. it wasn’t always like this for my family so ive been on both ends and i know what its like.

Oh my god one of my ex best friends who had a $125 allowance weekly for just existing at her house her entire life was complaining about how she’s literally broke and pulled out her bank account to show me upwards of $8000 in total from her parents?? While she knew I was struggling to eat a full meal every day?? I had literal pennies to my name and she pulls that bs

I don’t care that she has an allowance; I think it’s great that she can just not worry about finances. But to shove it under your “best friend’s” face knowing she’s struggling is something I will never condone

Oh AND she has her college, gas, and food paid for by her parents. I, on the other hand, work FOUR different jobs to pay for all of that myself

No, I'm very fortunate and appreciate my parents for their contributions. they made it clear that I'd have to pay for anything other than needs. Does that anger you?

Just a weird flex to make on a post about people’s parents not paying for their needs.

A question was asked. I answered and gave my reality on it. You took it as a flex. And the post was not about that.

Right it’s not the fact that some people are privileged , some people are just lucky like that, but it’s the people that are so detached from reality and don’t have social awareness. I’ve dealt with people like this lol
