yeah. i told him what the post said and he basically goes “oh sorry. im just reading a bunch of fucking sick people celebrate it.” as im crying and about to leave to go to my room w my backpack, he yells “i said im sorry!” i said “okay” and now im in my room and still shaken up. im in shock rn. idk if ive ever seen him that mad at me and i didnt even do what he thought :,)

That sounds scary. It’s hard to have a parent be explosive like that. And they never understand that saying you’re sorry doesn’t undo the shock to your nervous system. Even if you do accept his apology it takes the human body time to calm down
