Anyone else in their mid 20s feel like they are stunted? Covid defintely messed up my college experience, and I’m still living in my hometown which isn’t the best

It sucks because half of so many peoples high school and college experiences were cut short and those are such important times for personal growth and figuring yourself out, and we’ve got no way to get those times back

Covid made me really dislike video calls like zoom and stuff

Not socially but in every other area like yeah. Plus I feel like trying to be a new adult rn is so impossible and everything’s in flux all the time. Stability isn’t a thing unless I’m home and home feels like I’ve made no progress ever

I still feel 14-16 when I'm literally 20 rn

covid was the only way I found out I was beyond burnt out and I still feel like I have not recovered to a functional level

i can’t personally speak about college experience because i was entering high school when it started. but i will say i noticed a huge change in people from my hometown. some were positive changes and others just changed and we don’t speak no more so i can relate somehow!

I think it happened to most of us, yeah, I’ve put a lot of work into trying to compensate for it but that’s left me with weaknesses in other areas

Eh, there are lots of people who take five years to graduate or more when there’s stuff going on. I’d encourage you to try to finish stuff up when you can though, and the money you save on not doing more years can be used to ease your time into figuring out next steps

my brother was going into college during covid tho and i see where he gets upset because he felt like everything was taken away, high school graduation was online and his college experience was not the usual as it is now after covid so i definitely see your point and i genuinely am sorry!!
