actually come to think of it that’s exactly my point. like thats what ppl use the phrase to mean NOW but that’s not what it actually meant originally. people pleasing means you have a hard time saying no and setting boundaries and acknowledging your own needs, not just needing to be liked by everyone

my toxic belief is that eldest daughters make up 99% of real people pleasers and if ur not an eldest daughter, ur *probably* not a people pleaser (speaking as an eldest daughter who is not a people pleaser!)
