i can never wrap my mind around how they believe false allegations deserve that harsh of a sentence when perpetrators get so little. i won’t go into details because it’s triggering but this monster in my families’ lives only got 25 years for a heinous crime with the possibility of parole. a literal danger to society may get out if he’s “good” enough in prison

I think most guys support executing r**ists, given there is insurmountable evidence. It helps me to remember that men are scared too and often lash out at these things out of fear.

I have a friend who went through a false allegation and he’s never been the same. Genuinely heartbreaking. The people that tried to defend him were labelled and burned as well, so everyone else got the message and completely isolated him with zero evidence. I think it’s one of those things you just can’t understand till you or someone close to you goes through it. Some people are just sociopaths and will make up lies to feel powerful.
