With all this love island hype going on it really worries me how exploitative reality tv is. Like why are these ppl being put through socially acceptable psychological torture? I get that they sign up for it but it’s sad what ppl will do for clout

What even is that show? The only things I watch that are reality tv-ish are Survivor and The Amazing Race.

Correlation doesn’t always equal causation but all of them received a lot of hate and backlash from viewers so there’s a great chance they’re related

i also heard that they were also dealing with a lotttt of personal issues like apparently caroline flack, an original host, had a failing engagement/relationship and it played a big factor
