Because they’re stupid and think that since they had a bad experience or they didn’t work for them, that that is the case for everyone else too. Like that’s such a dangerous thing to push when these medications literally save people’s lives.

I’ve seen ads online now for “ detoxing off SSRI’s” I’m like… this sounds like they are alcoholics or sum . I’m just trying to understand why we are trying to push mentally ill ppl off their medication… that they need 😭
