i try to do stuff she can’t do anymore instead. like rent a rug doctor and clean her carpets, or dust everything in her china cabinet. or take her somewhere you can drive through christmas lights. this year my big “gift” to her was making everyone get together for thanksgiving since we hadn’t for a few years
