Actually lemme say it again, it is DANGEROUS to not discuss your romantic relationship with people you trust, that’s how people get isolated in a DV situation. Be honest with your loved ones, they may recognize the red flags of DV before you do.

Thank you!!! I saw a post on relationships and dating the other day saying women are too open to talking about their relationships, and you shouldn’t be talking about your relationship period but like this is exactly why we should do it.

I would prob be married to my abusive ex if not for my friend, and she wouldn’t have known if I didn’t complain about him to her. Keeping secrets can be very unsafe, don’t let your partner convince you to stay silent about the conflict yall have.

Yeah I think so too it depends with who (Ive had friends who would demonize my ex bc they wanted to get with me lol) but if a gal is in a relationship or obvi just pure wholesome friend then it’s always good to share sketchy behavior
