if i’m wasian but have never faced discrimination for my race or identity my whole life, can i even say that i’m a woman of color? my sister says we are WOC, but it feels disingenuous for me to claim that when my experience has been closer to white ppl’s
you’re still a woc even if you haven’t experienced discrimination. Facing racism is not the only requirement for being a person of color

I would say that you are still a woman of color; you just haven’t faced the sort of discrimination that typically comes with being mono-racial, but that doesn’t disqualify you from the title.
