struggle with people pleasing and I just stood a guy up for the first time because he was 10 minutes late without telling me and then he was 15 minutes late altogether and there was just a gut feeling… I felt like it wasn’t safe

what’s funny too is that I never flirted with him because I don’t really flirt when I first started texting someone because you’re getting to know the person you know it just comes off as superficial to me. Nothing wrong with acknowledging and saying nice things, but I think it has to be subtle flirting and not just out there like how this guy was doing.

thank you I just feel so bad but I’m really glad to be out of the situation. My gut was just telling me that something bad was going to happen tonight with him. I don’t know what it was. I survived this tire issue when it popped and I was swerving all over the place on the highway going 70 mph and I have a special thing in my car that I looked at at the time because I just had the feeling to look at it… and tonight I did too for some reason.

I think he got the message because like I said he was probably only there for 10 minutes until he realized I blocked him sooo. It’s not like he really got to know me and just wanted me in the DM’s or something

if you don’t have an anxiety disorder, always, ALWAYS listen to that gut feeling. Sometimes our subconscious mind picks up on details that we don’t notice. better safe than sorry!!
