i feel like youre mistaking compassion for complacency. you can be compassionate and still be a strong advocate for equality, feels like youre willfully ignoring a lot of nuances here. my comment was a reply to you because you stated that men arent demonized for gossip, but they are. everybody is demonized because both sides of the pond are throwing rocks at each other. i recognize that men have been at the top and patriarchal implications of that, i would never say ignore that. im not ur enemy.
i never said that, and its unfair of you to insinuate id imply such a negative thing; definitionally a red herring because you cant come to terms with the fact that youre perpetuating hate. even if its not to the degree of murder or SA, youre still spreading hate. youre not solving the problem, youre contributing to it
im not saying she should think about “mens feelings”. this doesnt have to do with mens feelings, this has to do with how our attitudes perpetuate these problems. im not saying be compassionate towards oppressors, im saying be compassionate towards humans and thats what you will receive in return; its basic karma… oppressors will get whats coming to them, we dont need to fight each other on this battle that has gone on long enough when we can all grow from kind language. words have power between.
matter of fact im an advocate of men being bigger people because of the position theyre in regarding patriarchal status; theres a lot to pay for. i want to uplift women, but i also come from the belief that if i want us to be equal then we should be able to have the discussion of who is being positive or negative towards the goal of bringing down such a looming force. all ive received here is just people jumping to conclusions and misinterpreting me though, so ig deaf ears
