While it is ironic that a movie about how women do all the work and men get all the credit turned out this way, the best actress category was way more competitive than the best supporting actor category. there were 6-7 strong candidates in BA, but only 5 spots. someone was gonna get snubbed. also comedies usually don't get BA. it doesn't need to be a whole thing, all the time
