Oh me too I commented because I’m sick of that attitude as well. I meant it’s technically a sin in the Catholic Church, since sex acts that aren’t procreative aren’t allowed. But like you can just confess and it gets forgiven, so no Catholic should treat someone like a bad person for performing an act that Jesus himself would forgive

That’s still bullshit. Nobody has like the right power to forgive, but Jesus technically so why would I confess it to some random guy?

Well cause Jesus gave his Apostles and their successors authority to forgive sins, so it’s not just a random guy. But that doesn’t really matter, bottom line is Catholics believe masturbation is a sin. But it’s not their job to shame others for sinning since we’re all sinners at the end of the day
