
I heard something from a lawyer recently that said the success rate of FIRST marriages is actually like 60/40, but the success rate of all the marriages after that is significantly lower, which is what tanks the overall marriage success rate. So if you’re emotionally mature enough to find someone also emotionally mature, your chances for your first marriage are in your favor for sure. That’s what she said anyway. And I believe she said she was licensed in California & TX
I personally could not be with someone for 5+ years without an agreement to get engaged and married soon. I have also always planned to wait until at least 26 and milk the shit out of my parents’ insurance while I can, but that still has me under 5 years (I’m 23) in current relationship
