I’ve had nothing but positive side effects on nuvaring. Different things work for different bodies. It’s best to try one that sounds compatible for you in terms of use and you can always switch if you don’t like the side effects.

it’s extremely hard on your body, and not worth the permanent effects on your body.

bc pumping your body full of bioengineered hormones is definitely good for you😂. you raise your risk of having a stroke, blood clots, and heart problems. that’s why women can get orthostatic symptoms like POTS, there’s several articles talking about the relation to POTS, and other heart issues with BC. a lot of people eventually also experience issues with getting pregnant in the future, which leads to other options in order to have a kid. it also raises the risk of certain types of cancers.

this can range from cervical, to ovarian. the risks outweigh the benefits.

birth control is a medication so it’ll have side effects, but the risk of any of this is extremely low for the average person. bc also helps DECREASE risk of cancer too, i think ovarian? but the fearmongering around ‘bioengineered hormones’ is kinda silly i won’t lie. all medication is bioengineered. that doesn’t inherently make something bad

i also think it’s important to point out that a lottt of women use birth control to manage their period symptoms. fearmongering and acting like bc is something uniquely awful when it’s just a medication that can have good and bad side effects only hurts women who could see great improvements in their health by using it. i personally went from being so dizzy i couldn’t stand from the blood loss to be able to start running again bc of birth control :D

i have read the studies. i’ve also talked to my doctor. it’s a very low risk that for me and many others is far outweighed by the benefits :)
