Oh wait i had to google was ring of fire was, but you’re already doing what’s best. You can normally buff off the green (it’s a top layer of mold), but don’t with the ring

Aww nooo I’m sorry! My sister contracted warts under her nails (she works with athletes 💀), and she hasn’t been able to do them for like 6 months now while she treats it and waits for the damage to grow. You can probably get away with using regular polish after a bit
