this reminds me of during my birthday party when all my friends were on their phones the whole time. I was raised by parents who wouldn’t even let the tv be on during family dinner so to me it’s crazy that ppl are so chronically online

I am married and I don’t get on my phone to talk to my husband unless he calls me and it’s an emergency. Your friend just sucks

i literally talked to her about it to when it was happening i was like “do you mind putting your phone away? we haven’t seen each other in a while so i wanna be able to talk without phones” and she goes “well it’s my bf texting me, he just wants me to be safe so i have to keep checking in with him why does that bother you” if you need to “check in” every 5 seconds your bf is controlling.

well i am in a 2 year relationship and also don’t understand this so what dat mean?? yall are at BRUNCH not at a club which still doesn’t excuse the behavior. the behavior is disrespectful from ANYONE

like i understand texting when you arrive just so he knows you made it safely, that’s totally normal, but the entire time we’re at brunch??? like just say you hate me atp. and the reason i haven’t seen her in a while is because ALL of her free time is spent with him
