i think it’s also important to keep in mind that “trad wife” has a very specific online connotation, associated with social media influencers, which by default means they aren’t inherently living by the standard they preach. they are full on business women masquerading as a lifestyle of ceding autonomy to their partners, which makes it dangerous for their audience who aren’t aware of that context
