i think his parents did drop the charges bc i looked on his actual public record like one u have to pay to get (its just $1) & it wasnt on there so maybe they dropped the charges later on? like after the article was written IDK MAN

IT DOESSS ugh i hate this. he was so nice too😭 & the weird thing is he gets along w his parents great like he talks abt his mom all the time but...idk i just cant see how smth like this can be completely made up like he says where he didnt do ANYTHING

so if the charges were dropped, that basically means he’s not guilty because charges are only pressed when people are guilty, so it showing up on his record would in a way reflect that he was guilty

yess but the issue is that it was his parents who dropped the charges & ofc they arent going to want to see their son get charges brought against him so they may be more lenient towards him & it doesnt necessarily mean he didnt do it just that they dont want to press charges

its bad bc i see him on the regular just going abt my daily life & itd be so awkward if i was just like mmm yah i dont believe u & then saw him the next day😭 he used to do drugs (hes getting clean now) so i also think that could be a factor in this whole thing idk its just so confusing

Nope, it’s not horrible at all. I’ve been in situations with some horrible people and it always takes me a long time to remove them. That is okay. But the least you can do is be cautious… and if it starts to feel like he’s gaslighting you or being manipulative WRITE EVERYTHING DOWN. The brain can be tricked easily. And you can easily become a victim. If he did that do his own mother, you might be dealing with a guy with some issues. On the other hand, people do grow and change. (1/2)

okay i asked him abt it today again in person & he explained a bit more saying how he lost two friends at the time & kinda went crazy? he said he was high & like freaking out & his neighbor called the police & ig told them what the article says (that he strangled his mom & assaulted his dad LEAVING INJURIES) but he says he never touched either of them & was released at the station & his parents dropped the charges so idk. it is true that his record doesnt show it & he even said i can talk to his
