kind of yes but i will say dont wear baggy shorts i went climbing once and my whole thongwas out for the world to see halfway up the rock. also if you’re doing harness stuff lowkey hurts to not have a layer in between to prevent chafing while you move

like if your only options are flared leggings or shorts go flared leggings but regular leggings would be way easier
