Why is it so normalized to just get ghosted after an interview. Just tell me if you hired someone else so I’m not sitting here wondering what’s going on. I wonder if it’s always been like this.

Job applications too. How is anyone supposed to know what they need to improve on or why they’re getting rejected if they get no reason. Also, you’re setting yourself up for failure as an employer because if you’re taking your time to quietly consider me I’m gonna take the first job that says anything back first

i applied to 11 places, i heard back from 2. that’s INSANE. i even called each place at least once. a few places said their hiring manager would call me back, but ofc they never did. 🥲
