kinda wild you’ll get congratulated if you get engaged but not if you have a life partner without getting the government involved through marriage. like aren’t these basically the same thing except marriage has way less benefits😭😭

like divorces are such a pain in the ass when you can literally just break up if you never get married. idk it’s just so pointless to me and i honestly feel like most people only get married for the wedding and instagram posts
