is it bad that i’m a bit peeved my fiancé says our kids will have to have his dad and moms names as their middle name?? his name is literally a shortened version of his moms (one letter off) and his middle name is his dads. this feels SO unfair to me.

“Will have to”—is he going through three trimesters of different problems 1,2,3,4 times (idk how many kids you might want/have)? Uhhh, how about he corrects himself and instead says “I would LIKE to name our children with my parents names as their middle names?”

Yeah that’s weird asf. My husband is a second and shares his entire full legal name w his dad (except for yk the II) and the first time we discussed naming potential kids he was like “you’d be carrying the kid so at the end of the day it’s your choice if you wanted to continue that. I personally don’t have an attachment to it”
