The vest is great. I have one for my dog because she doesn’t like kids or men (we think she was hurt by them in the past). It really helps people not try to come up and pet them. I just have a vest that says “Don’t pet I’m scared” most of the time people respect it

You can make or buy a vest that says “not friendly” or something so parents and kids know not to approach or let their kids approach your dog.

It could be because she has just never been exposed to them much or not taught how to properly interact with kids or it could be because she had bad experiences with kids. If it’s the first one then you’ll want to train her and expose her to things carefully, if it’s the second one you can’t do much about it imo

yeah i have no idea, she came from a shelter and shes 5 so theres a lot i dont know, and its not worth the risk imo. luckily my college town doesnt have a whole lot of kids but every other week or so we’ll run across one. i like the vest idea, bc she doesnt really fw dogs either😭

You could see if any trainers in your area would come observe her to confirm if it’s aggression or not. Sometimes kids confuse dogs and what we perceive as hunting is them not knowing wth something is
