in the same way AI cant be banned completely it should be just banned for easy access- it can still be integrated into website algorithms or whatever else it’s used for

theres a ton of really cool materials that have been made to replace plastic (really plastic is only easy/fast/cheap for companies therefore they have stake in making the claim that its unrealistic)! its super fun to look into :) theres been a lot of people making biodegradable replacements for plastic for tupperware and jewelry! (and already on market for consumers not just companies) science is awesome eep

yes! i think AI is completely useful in algorithms, sifting through research data/spreadsheets, but like chatbots and other LLMs are too damaging to the earth and psyche imo. (like plastic! i understand its use in small ways like linings for aluminum cans, but we can set more regulations 100%, if not a total ban in the next 30 years)
