The Trevor project saved my life multiple times, I heavily relied on the text line when I was in HS in crisis and couldn’t talk on the phone

I've personally volunteered with the Trevor project and you really never realize how many live you are saving by supporting organization like that. This is such an important resource for our youth please continue to support those who are building our future 🩷

I can understand how some people might logic their way through getting rid of the LGBTQ one bc like “oh why do they need a separate hotline” but just the general one being removed too??? When the mental health crisis is so wide spread???? There is absolutely no logic or reasoning anyone could make to excuse that

Both are extremely important but just for clarity’s sake. They’re SPECIFICALLY targeting the LGBT youth subnetwork of the 988 hotline. Not the entire thing. But it’s wrong to get rid of that so everyone still sign!!

It’s not, the regular hotline is getting all funding cut FOR the Trevor project (the LGBTQ hotline) so the regular one is still available
