Where do you guys learn about current and historical events? I don’t know what information to trust! I’m talking news articles, podcasts, books, YouTube videos, TikToks etc

Current events: ground news and Reddit as weird as that sounds Historical events: there’s a lot of good science/ history communicators on YouTube like Lindsey Nicole, miniminuteman, The Histories, and fig tree (@underthefigtree)

tbh for current events i like to just google whatever i heard on tiktok and fact check it but pbs news hour is a good go to

I also like Leeja Miller on YouTube for current events because she’s a lawyer who is really good at breaking down the current political sphere but I can only watch her a little bit because too much politics gives me panic attacks
