 High schools need to bring back senior projects bc my hs kept ours so when I went to college I already knew how to do research and write in mla and cite sources. Idk why it was discontinued

The way my school did it was every so often we worked on it in class so our teachers could help us answer questions and stuff. It literally teaches you basics for research papers and presentations

We learned once in hs to do the header. But we did a project where we had to pick from a list of topics. Find twelve sources and send them to be printed. Highlight the parts from the sources that we were going to cite, write an MLA formatted paper with citations, and then make a PowerPoint presentation and present it on a non school day in office job type clothing. Everything was put into a huge binder with clear sleeves and handed in. Spread out over the year

But when I got to college and took LS 101 and English 101 it was literally learning the same thing all over again bc no one came into university knowing how to write a paper
