Aww thank you! 🙏 Considering it’s been quite a while now, early 2018, and we’re going just as strong as ever I really think it’s going to. Right now, and since 2022, he and I are counselors at the camp where we first met.

It still feels magical even all these years later. Every morning when I wake up and see him it makes me just as happy as it did when I finally got up the courage to ask him out 🙂‍↕️😊 I also got really lucky, not just with the move taking me tot he same state and eventually same county, but I mean because we were friends at camp that summer for weeks before he asked me out, so even when I said no (again, dealing with the fact I’d come out as aromantic at 13🫠) we were still able to be friends.

Oh absolutely! I joke with him about how I’m so glad he didn’t take no for an answer, and he says he knew he’d win me over eventually, even though at the time it really was just friendship. And in the end that’s what really got me. I mean yeah he is handsome as all heck, even back then, but it was really just his charming, genuine and kind he is. Even back at camp we bonded over nerding out over rock/metal, Star Wars, guns/hunting, outdoors, photography, etc. It all just felt so natural.
