I think it’s time I realize what’s holding me back with my PCOS… it’s the carbs. I have to stop eating so much of it. Gonna challenge myself next month.

If you’re referring to weight loss, ever since I got on Spironolactone it’s been absurdly easy to lose weight. It always annoyed me before when people would say “just eat less and walk more!” but when you have regulated hormones it really is that easy?? Before meds I would be fasting every other day, doing an hour of HIIT daily, and eating only smoothie bowls and I lost maybe 10 pounds over 5 months. Then it immediately came back when I slowed down a little bit

Now that I’m on meds I literally lost 12 pounds just from walking for 20-30 minutes a few days a week and eating slightly less, and it stays off. It’s crazy how PCOS makes everything so much more difficult

I’m not a doctor so I’m not going to give you medical advice, but it could still be worth looking into and asking your doctor about. It seems like you can avoid the blood pressure lowering effects of it by consuming extra sodium since that’s how it control blood pressure. I take it for the testosterone blocking effect and it’s been extremely helpful!
