Update: Got my period! I know I was being irresponsible by not remembering my pills but I decided it’s best to change methods so that this stress doesn’t happen again
Nothing is more stressful than missing two birth control pills in a row the first week of them and then having to anxiously wait until your period. I’m supposed to get it tn and my tracker says not until Friday so this is fun. Also I took a test and neg.

I was considering the shot but my stepmom just found out that it’s deteriorating her hip and it’s a common side effect. My fiancé doesnt want me to get an iud because he doesn’t want me to go through the pain. I’m still looking at options

Bone mineral density loss is a big problem with the shot. The implant might be a good method for you! It’s placed in your arm after a numbing shot, lasts 5 years, zero maintenance, and is 99.95% effective. A ring or patch could also be good; they’re monthly and weekly, respectively.
