guys i need to know if i am crazy or not. my bf is at my family reunion with me, and he is sleeping on my aunt’s couch in front of everyone. has barely said a word to anyone, and wants me to sit next to him the whole time. is this lowkey disrespectful?

i want to pull him aside and say “dude, you can’t be doing this. people need to sit down and i’m GOING to interact with my family”. he didn’t have to come if he was gonna act like this and im kinda embarrassed

yes, the only people he’s met are my parents and sister. i’m actively trying to introduce him to people but he’s just on the damn couch

yeah i think i’m going to here soon. i told him before we came he could stay by me and doesn’t have to talk a lot! we aren’t staying too much longer so hopefully he understands that i’m not saying he has to be mr. social butterfly but i’d appreciate if he wasn’t sprawled out on my aunt’s couch 🙃

he’s always quiet and more reserved whenever we’re around a lot of people (which doesn’t happen often). but this is the first time i’ve felt like he was being disrespectful
