The teacher yelled at them anyway and told them to say what they were saying. So one girl, Mari, tells her that she didn’t hear her. The school nurse (the art teachers mom) starts screaming at this girl that she shouldn’t have been talking and if they had just shut up then she would have known what to do.

The girl was crying and they were talking about writing her up and kicking her out of the club and she was so so upset. So after like ten minutes, the teacher finally asks “what was so important that you couldn’t pay attention to begin with?” The girl (who is still sobbing) holds out her hearing aid and chokes out that her batteries died. I ain’t seen two women ever change colors and tones that fast

The art teacher got moved to the highschool like a week later. Sadly the nurse didn’t go anywhere because she was the only nurse for both the highschool and the elementary and we didn’t have a back up option. I have soooooo many stories about her
