oh my godddd. my school offers therapy groups right. i tried the EMDR group and it did not go well and i emailed them and said my symptoms r worsening. now they aren’t letting me do the self love group bc of that. holy crap

Honestly I would take it up with the school for that shit. That’s crazy to not let you into one kind of therapy group because you just let them know a different group wasn’t helpful

i have a very abusive background and they know this and it lowkey feels abusive to me that they’d not allow someone into a fucking self love session …

Woah thank you for the feedback. I wrote them a lengthy email apologizing and really asking them to reconsider. I lowkey feel like they’re not letting me into the group because they felt like it was rude of me to not vibe with the last one and maybe feel personally responsible and just don’t want to deal with that discomfort. I’m not sure who I’d contact about this if they end up not letting me in.
