bye i wouldnt have never thought of that until someone said smth 😭 but yeah its a bit jarring to think that in covid you were in middle school and he was in college but its not that weird imo? whether or not it affects yalls relationship is rlly up to you bc i dont rlly think a 4 yr age gap is that bad esp since yall are both above drinking age but if it leaks into yalls compatibility and shit then maybe think abt it more

It doesn’t. Maybe the fact that it’s so jarring to me and I have my own issues with relationships and age gaps. I’m also currently a college student and I’m detached from middle school me (partly bc it feels SO long ago) so I feel like it makes the age gap feel larger than it is. I’m also a chronic over thinker lol

mmh yeah maybe try talking to him or someone else irl abt how it feels for you since you said you have your own issues, i dont want the way you feel to mess up your relationship and if its that bad maybe even consider getting a therapist to talk it out and hopefully figure out and resolve the issues you have abt it?
