you know women in countries like iran and surrounding countries can’t show their faces, hair, arms, legs, and don’t have the freedom of speech? we get to do that and tons more compared to them. they can’t voice their opinions. we can. yall should be a lot more grateful for what we have in america and not have to go through what others go through in other countries

just bc i think this country is run horribly and has a shitty president/admin doesn’t mean i’m ungrateful. i’m grateful for my life and what i have, but i’m not grateful for how oppressed women are becoming in this country. bffr.

No we shouldn’t be grateful, we should be angry that the bar is so low. We should be angry that women in America can’t even choose what to do with their pregnancies. We should be angry that even if we’re dead, we’re going to be incubators. Yes, we get to say that out loud, but I am NOT going to be grateful that so many women in the world are not treated like humans. “Look at how these women have it” is just a way to guilt us into feeling okay about our mistreatment.
