My religion does not actually let me date. Are you saying he had so many girls in his phone he could not tell who was who?

so i should forgive someone for not knowing my name after speaking to them for 2 weeks and setting up a date… low standards

That! There’s really no excuse for it and the fact he’s blowing up your phone is just delusional.

blowing up the phone is crazy, but i don’t save ppls numbers immediately especially from tinder😂 no one’s saying forgive him but from the sounds of it you’ve never even met this person irl yet. until ik a man from tinder is serious (most aren’t) no that number is not getting saved. unless there was a hey it’s ____ message to start

Not knowing someone’s name after two weeks and then harassing them like this because of that isn’t acceptable.

be realistic, messaging someone for 2 weeks, which first off isn’t even that long, off of TINDER of all places and thinking you’re the only person they’re trying to get to know is also delusional. now i can say if this is the type of person that’s bad at remembering names then they shouldn’t be the type to not save numbers

If they can’t even remember a name after talking to someone for 2 weeks, they clearly don’t care to know you at all.

if they talked every day, sure. but we don’t know that

if they originally started talking on tinder, he should know her name. i mean it’s right there on the profile… it would’ve taken bare minimum investigative skills to figure it out on his own: look through chat msgs, find where the number was shared. but he couldn’t even be bothered to do that :(

we did talk everyday as well as talk on the phone… as well as had a date planned i dont care if it was one day you should at least know the name of the person you are attracted to and messaging and calling his number isnt saved but i know his name

thank you!! there are ways in which matter when pursuing someone and asking there name after 2 weeks after meeting on a dating profile is crazzyyy work it shows age, AND name

okay so that’s pretty much what i just said. “if this is the type to be bad with names they shouldn’t be the type to not save numbers” 6 has a point but that can also be circumstantial bc some people don’t put their full name on there, but again, just ask. now this was just me playing devils advocate(1/2)

i can agree planning a date and not knowing a name is a bit odd. perhaps you’d reintroduce yourselves when you met irl who knows. i do just in case. but saying you expect ppl to remember your name after ONE day… please be fr

It wasn’t one day. It was two weeks of a lot of conversation and even phone calls and a planned date, as OP said. Please be fr.

i’m not referring to that nor was i replying to you. OP just said they didn’t care if it was one day, they need to know her name. as a fellow black girl, our own parents hardly remember which child they’re calling for and they’ve known us our whole lives. so expecting a stranger to remember your name after one day like i said please be fr

this still doesnt make sense your parents know who is in the household calling someone the wrong name is fine but not knowing there name is odd and even asking after that amount of time is almost rude

my god yall are just reading what yall want to read🤦🏾‍♀️ like i literally just said planning a date and still not knowing is a bit odd. i’m referring to your one day comment, not the 2 weeks anymore. not many people remember names after one day. whether that be from school, work, etc. so to have the expectation that someone should have your name remembered after one day is unrealistic

No, you’re just making up scenarios that aren’t relevant here. Focus on the plot at hand.
