What no. The liberty and justice for all rhetoric. I just hate that all of our history’s leaders have failed to actually apply it to all. The constitution has good morals in it. Our leaders just dont care about anyone but themselves

It’s really easy to hate America and I’m not saying you shouldn’t but it was designed with freedom and justice for ALL. I know when I say for all I mean it, so I will continue to fight till that stand trues, and I am allowed to do so because I was born in herw

This country wasn’t actually founded on that at all tho. That’s just pro America propaganda. It was founded thru genocide as a white ethnostate on stolen land for white rich men seeking independence from the British monarchy so that they can be richer and own slaves. The constitution considers slaves as 3/5 a person

How was it designed for freedom and justice for all when that only applied to land owning white men? On the backs of slavery and the genocide of its indigenous population?

Weather or not they meant it in that way, liberty and justice for all means for ALL, and I will fight for it to mean that. I love this country that my father chose for me to have a better life and will fight for it so others can too

I didnt say the original people were good. I said the rhetoric is there. Its like when a bigot says something liberal and theyre so close to understanding it but then they turn around and say “and thats why women should stay in the kitchen” like the founding fathers said the liberal stuff then continued their racism and stuff.

Just like i said in my first response to you. I hate that our leaders fail to apply it to all. The things in the constitution are good. The founding fathers just decided to only apply those good things to white men. But once those good things are applied to everyone unconditionally like they said in justice for all, then the country will be good

but they didn’t say the liberal stuff. when they said justice and liberty for all they meant justice and liberty for all white land-owning men. that was very clear in the constitution. if it wasn’t written with those things built into it, if our country wasn’t created on stolen land and from the labor of enslaved people, we would not still have these issues of oppression today. but we do, bc our country is working exactly the way it was outlined in the constitution and by the founding fathers

And the fact the constitution was designed to be a living document means we can make that happen

i think instead of trying to modify the constitution which has white supremacy and colonialism embedded into it, we should scrap the whole thing and come up with something different. you can’t build a sturdy house on a crumbling foundation

The fact that you can say this about your government shows how much privilege you are allowed in this country. I’m not saying it’s perfect or any close to it but you have to realize that you are allotted a certain amount of privilege with being born in the US
