My mother had a full blown hemorrhaging of her uterus because of cysts that were so bad she ended up needing a full blown hysterectomy. Her insurance/primary care doctor originally classified it as “normal menstrual bleeding” 🤦‍♀️

I had a male doctor try and blame my iron deficient anemia on my period. I was in active organ failure with no period for months. Same doctor tried saying my fatigue was due to depression when again, I was in organ failure

I had an large ovarian cyst rupture this weekend and they ended up finding blood in my pelvis. Initially the doctor told me it’s just stress producing a stomach ache.
