Jesus Christ that would scare me so bad. I think one of the consequences of male socialization is they often have less inhibitions about tweaking out/being disruptive in public whether it’s yelling/aggressive behavior, coughing and sniffling, making noise in general etc. bro probably had some stuff going on but the gender stuff def plays into it + just something I think abt a lot

My brother did that when he was younger and my mother got him counseling. His teacher told him to do his work and he started slamming his head on the desk. He still has anger issues now but at least he’s not self harming ig 😬
