It starts with Georgia tann which is what the post was about? Adoption was different before her. It’s not just native Americans, it was an anti-poor ppl eugenics thing. They didn’t think poor ppl could raise their own children and that rich ppl should do it instead. That’s the root of American adoption. I was talking about Georgia Tann and how she shaped adoption today. Adoption is not wrong bc it targets poc communities (which it absolutely does and is another layer) meaning it’s okay to target white babies. American Adoption is wrong bc it removes your human rights.. point blank period. That was my argument. I didn’t overlook anything.
